Viscous Damping

Viscous damping (\(1/time^2\)) is a relative energy dispersion term that affects the relative linear and angular velocities of a soft body.

While the viscous damping does not affect the kinetic energy of the soft body, it globally constrains all the nodes to have velocities aligning with the barycentric velocity of the soft body.

This term is extremely powerful considering that it is capable of dissipating local vibrations and error terms. And from the behavior point of view, it gives control over the node group cohesion.
