Carbon Rigid Transform¶
Description¶
Transform a mesh with a Carbon Rigid or Carbon Body transform.
Inputs¶
Input #1: Simulation
A Carbon Simulation geometry stream composed of several packed primitives as created by the Carbon SOP nodes such as the Carbon Body SOP node, or a merge of these nodes.
Input #2: Mesh To Transform
Mesh to be transformed by a Carbon Rigid or Carbon Body transform.
Parameters¶
Rigid / Body rigidBody
Carbon Rigid or Carbon Body from Input #1. The selected node’s transform is used to transform (translate and rotate) the mesh attached to input #2.
Note
When using a Rigid Body (i.e. Carbon Rigid + Carbon Shape + Carbon Body, or Carbon Rigid Body Macro), the transform of the Body is the combined transform of the Rigid and the Body’s Reference transform. This means that if the Body’s Reference transform’s values are all set to 0, the Rigid’s transform and the Body’s transform are identical.
