Carbon Simulation Geometry¶
Description¶
Extract and unpack the geometries of up to four different Carbon nodes from a SOP Carbon Simulation geometry stream.
Several of these nodes can be used in cascade to extract more than four nodes’ geometries by using one of the outputs as a bypass.
Warning
If any of the nodes selected in Outputs #1-4 have Carbon Node Names that are not equal to their respective graph nodes’ names, changing the node name will break the dropdown. This is usually the case when a graph node spawns multiple Carbon Objects, for example from withing a For-Loop. In those cases, the Carbon Node Names won’t be the same as the graph node, as each Carbon Object requires a unique name, and changes to the Carbon Node Names are not automatically propagated to the Simulation Geometry dropdowns.
Inputs¶
Input #1: Simulation Stream
A Carbon Simulation geometry stream composed of several packed primitives as created by the Carbon SOP nodes such as the Carbon Cloth SOP node, or a merge of these nodes.
Outputs¶
Output #1-4:
Depending on the selection, either the input geometry stream or the unpacked geometry of the selected Carbon node.
Parameters¶
Output #1 output1
The simulation geometry to output as first output, or the input geometry stream if Bypass is selected.
Output #2 output3
The simulation geometry to output as second output, or the input geometry stream if Bypass is selected.
Output #3 output3
The simulation geometry to output as third output, or the input geometry stream if Bypass is selected.
Output #4 output4
The simulation geometry to output as fourth output, or the input geometry stream if Bypass is selected.
